Locktober runs the whole month of October, and this shirt is your ballot for it. Measure 1 sets your term limit: one week, 31 days, one year, or indefinitely. Measure 2 is cage type: metal, silicone, 3D printed nylon, or plastic. Measure 3 is the one people actually ask about, self-locked or keyholder. Fill it out with a paint pen or leave it blank and let them wonder.

Locktober ends and then the real vote shows up. The midterms are Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Every seat in the House is up, a third of the Senate, plus governors, state legislatures, judges, city councils, and school boards. Those are the people writing the rules on queer healthcare, trans care, obscenity law, what a small business like ours can sell and ship, and whether a shop like this one gets left alone.

Off year turnout is low, which is exactly why these races get decided by small numbers of people who bothered. Check your registration, check your polling place, and find out what is actually on your local ballot, because down ballot is where most of it happens. Start at vote.gov. If you are in New Mexico with us, look up your county clerk for early voting dates.

Wear the shirt in October. Vote in November. One is a joke, one is not.
